    The Kooples

    Bristol, England is where The Kooples have opened their latest store on Saturday 24th September.

    The Kooples franco-british elegance made for chic, sharp urban living has everything from dress shirts to party dressers, jeans to suits, shoes to jewels!

    Designed by Boxco2 Consultants, London, Paul Gabriel worked with the JRS project team who delivered the main contractor for this cutting edge retailer.

    JRS in house joinery manufactured the specilist shopfront that retains the design integrity of the historic surroundings while maintaining the brand identity and values.

    The changing rooms, a key to the design concept, featured “Leather Clad” panels giving the style and elegance of The Kooples brand, this was complemented with the “resin floor” throughout the retail area and all brought to life with led illuminated light boxes to the perimeter.

    Dune Opens Its Latest Retail Store

    Dune opened its latest retail store within Europe’s largest shopping centre in Stratford, London, England.

    Designed by the London and Edinburgh based studio, Four by Two, Karen Maxwell and her team created exciting and innovative ideas offering the shopper not only retail theatre (and this store certiainly achieves it!) but new achitecture with the “Upside Down Catwalk” where shoes are displayed from the ceiling giving customers a different dimension of how fantasic the Dune Shoe is!

    In the central zone, suspended from the ceiling, feature displays using “Chroma Acrylic, Polished Stainless Steel with inserted LED Lighting” creates a powerful draw to the merchandise combined with ease of shopping.

    JRS Group was awarded the full fit out contract. With its UK in-house facilty of Project Management teams, Joinery Manufacture and technical support all of the challenges created by this new design concept were achieved to the delight of Dune and the designers.

    Specialized

    The Specialized Concept Store in London is located in one of the most vibrant areas of Covent Garden. The store has an urban design style that reflects the vibrancy of the area and the character and flamboyance of local residents. Operating over two levels, the store is both an inspiring brand experience. JRS was appointed main contractor to carry out the full refurbishment.

    Constantine Lykiard of Butterfield Interior Design, the south east based studio created the concept for Specialized with JRS preparing all manufacturing drawings and produced all fixtures and fittings from their own factory including the spectacular staircase for the retail environment. A pallet of materials from Panga Panga to European Birch to Stainless Steel and Low Iron Glass Feature Wall were all part of the fusion mix of sustainable products.

    Terry Davis project manager for JRS openly stated it was one of the most interesting and exciting projects he had ever been involved in, complicated, challenging but when it all came together on the day the client was delighted and in his words “A Fantastic Project”

    Eden Project

    Dubbed as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’, the Eden Project is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes the sights, smells and sheer scale of the world’s largest greenhouses.

    JRS who have worked with the Eden project from its conception have been involved with the latest hospitality development supplying furniture for “Joe’s Café” Paul Richards was delighted to manufacture specialist items for a Cornish company by a Cornish company.

    LKB Power into the Windy City Chicago and Atlanta

    JRS have recently completed the manufacture, supply and Installation of shopfitting fixtures for LKB in Chicago and Atlanta. The stores are both stand alone and located in the prestigious shopping malls of 900 Michigan Avenue, Chicago and Phipps Plaza, Atlanta USA.

    The store concept designed by Four by Two of London has further developed its look with the introduction of “The New Shoe Wall” allowing LKB’s much sort after merchandise to by displayed with added distinction!

    Designers’ Briefs

    Moss, the menswear and occasion-wear specialist, has launched its new concept outlet store in Hatfield’s Galleria shopping centre.

    With this new concept, CEO, Brian Brick is determined to revitalise the Moss Bros brand and is set to change the way men buy suiting by introducing a Savile Row tailoring experience, at an affordable cost.

    The store was designed by Moss’ in-house team, in collaboration with Household and The Face.

    JRS was tasked with building an outlet store that would signify Moss’ new positioning, and that would epitomise quality, contemporary styling, a sophisticated environment, and at the same time generate significant sales from a wide profile of customers. Read more

    JRS Launch New Website

    Europa Studio were appointed web designers and developers for the new JRS website. Their expertise in web development is exceptional with “attention to detail, proactivity and innovation” being their key words.

    Europa Studio won the contract having fought off 4 other companies. Steve Whittaker of JRS, quoted: “Having worked with Europa Studio for many years, they have brought their flair to our innovative company”.

    JRS takes New York by storm

    LK Bennett the highly respected international retailer opened 4 concessions within the Bloomingdale department stores.

    JRS were chosen to manufacture, supply and oversee the installation in New York.

    Peter Richards quoted:

    The project required Speed, determination and utilisation of our connections with international partners to achieve LK Bennett’s expectations which involved air freighting all components.

    One New Change, London

    The flagship property development from Land Securities located in Cheapside, within the heart of London. This stunning shopping destination has the benefit of a panoramic lift providing views of St Pauls Cathedral. JRS worked with two international clients being LK Bennett and Dune to deliver these exciting individually designed stores.

    Dune’s new concept store designers by four-by two, creates a three dimensional environment with the use of specialist mirrors, leather and other luxury materials. JRS carried out a full turnkey fit out. Terry Davies, Project Manager for JRS advised:

    This has to be one of the most exciting projects that I’ve overseen. We were faced with many challenges which we overcame to create a work class store.

    LK Bennett continues to expand with its world class winning format of international store fit with the use of luxurious fixtures and finishes. Paul Richards of JRS, quoted:

    Scandilines Duty Free, Copenhagen

    Concourse Display Management appointed JRS to carry out works within the duty-free area of 8 of the Scandiline ships which sail out of Copenhagen, Denmark.

    A project based on a tight timeline with an exacting design requirement along with the allowance for the rigours of the North Sea, JRS executed the project on time and budget. JRS account manager quoted:

    The teams within the joinery, engineering and technical support services at JRS were outstanding and they ensured that this project was realised. The utilisation of our international based Project Manager with the International Installation Team, the client is delighted with the finished project. We are now working on many other sites throughout the world for CDM.
